We expect ROV People registering here to have a minimum 2 years offshore experience as ROV Pilot Tech 1.  We will not validate Pilot Tech 2 Registrations at this time.  We expect Pilot Techs to be Pilots and Techs-as stated on the tin.  As a MINIMUM benchmark, we will be led by IMCA GUIDELINES when deciding on validation of registrations according to the stated competance level, but not exclusivley.  Registration validation will still be slave to the receipt of valid appraisals, and/or references.  Placements will be slave to individual client competancy schemes, and the requirements thereof. 

We ask that all registered ROV People respect the interests of fellow members, whom may genuinely benefit from using this access point, by maintaining accurate details-especially with respect to availability.

Validation depends on our being able to verify your details for accuracy.  We require appraisals, and/or 2 x references.  We will also require evidence of technical competence, such as trade or professional certificates/registered qualifications.

Personnel showing on a search as 'available', when 'not available', or whose details are fabricated, or innacurate  negatively affects the credibility of the entire ROV People site membership.  For the sake of those maintaining accurate and updated details therefore, Web administrators may invalidate the details of registered members submitting false and/or out-dated information.

We appreciate that there may be instances genuinely preventing update.  Constant monitoring should help prevent this, by prompting members before the situation arises.  Nonetheless, the system relies heavily on those who are able, updating their details as necessary.

PLEASE BE SPECIFIC ABOUT THE TYPE(S) OF ROVS OPERATED.  Experience shows it as a major client search criteria. By all means use terms like WROV, and OBSROV, WORK CLASS,  INSPECTION CLASS and EYEBALL, BUT ALSO BE SPECIFIC with the ROV type names. WITHOUT SPECIFICS, YOUR REGISTRATION CANNOT BE VALIDATED,  and you will not show up in a client search.  You will receive your username and password soon after registration and validation.  Your name, and key professional details (no contact details) will then be accessed by all registered ROV clients worldwide. Once registered, you need only update appropriate details as and when required. 

Please note: Your name and work details are secure and are accessed by yourself and verified officers of our client companies only.  Your contact details remain invisible, except to officers of ROV People Ltd.  You may select the 'anonymous'  option, should you wish your name (but not your work details) to remain invisible to searches.  You will be AUTOMATICALLY  notified of GENUINE interest.  Client details will be revealed as necessary and appropriate for progressing interest, and pending client consent.

Long-term (contract) engagements may be available, under mutually agreeable terms.

Users will ordinarily be given notice and reasons for membership/registration invalidation. However, ROV People Ltd reserves the right to withold, or withdraw membership/registration validation without notice or justification.
